About

Introduction Header

Feared.

Hated.

Hunted.

Vampires exist, but not those of myth and legend.

They are just like us.

Good.

Bad.

Indifferent.

Happy.

Sad.

Frightened……of the light, of people, of each other, of being found out, of dying again.

Catherine Morrison has spent the better part of 900 years walking the line between humans and vampires…protecting her people from the worst of humanity and humanity from the worst of her people.

Her vast wealth established the Phoenix Foundation, a non-Profit corporation whose sole purpose is to help her kind and give them a safe place…a place to belong. Yet, she chooses to remain an outsider.

She is loved, feared, and sometimes even hated, but she’s never been hunted.

Until now.

Written by Will Allred with art and colors by Gene Gonzales, Diary of Night is a four-issue limited series about Catherine Morrison, a 900-year-old vampire who finds herself drawn into a deadly game of cat and mouse. The first issue is free via Comixology (Diary of Night #1) or by downloading it right here, Diary of Night #1 (PDF).

Gene and I are very proud of Diary of Night, and we’re certain that you’ll love it as much as we do.
